Sub-levels form the core progression structure of Deadly Delivery. Each time your team votes to Descend, the elevator takes you deeper into the underground facility. Understanding what awaits at each depth range helps you prepare the right class, gear, and team composition.

Sub-Levels 1-5: Tutorial Depth

The first five sub-levels serve as the learning zone. Monsters are limited to low-threat creatures like Running Food and basic Mimics. The Money Bar quota is low and timers are generous. New players should focus on learning controls, hotbar management, and elevator mechanics here.

Recommended: Odd Jobber or Veterinarian class. Equipment: Flashlight only. Strategy: Fill quota, evacuate, sell food, repeat for safe coin farming.

Sub-Levels 5-15: Mid-Game

Monsters diversify with Worms, Puppets, and Sneakrats appearing. The Toy Room spawns between levels 10-15, where you can find rescue NPC Sam (required for Porter unlock). Mutation spawn rates increase. Teams should coordinate gear purchases from the vending machine.

Recommended: Sprinter or Baseballer. Equipment: Flashlight + weapon. Strategy: Descend to 10-15 for Sam rescue, then evacuate with loot.

Sub-Levels 15-25: Deep Runs

High-threat monsters including Mimic Clones and Crocodile appear. Guest 666 sightings begin. Shadowed mutations become more common. Timer pressure intensifies. Teleporter and Hourglass become essential vending purchases.

Recommended: Veteran or Porter. Equipment: Full loadout. Strategy: Only descend with coordinated team and max gear.

Sub-Levels 25-35+: Endgame

Extreme threats dominate. Sub-level 35 features the Vecna boss requiring frequency generators to defeat. Only experienced teams with S-Tier classes should attempt these depths. Rewards include the highest-value mutated foods and rare items.

Recommended: Subject G for time control + Health Inspector for team support. Read our boss guide for Vecna and Serpent strategies.
